Cuisinart Popcorn Maker – Low Calorie Snack Ideas

cuisinart popcorn makerLike many people, I enjoy a crunchy snack while I watch my evening television shows. Being health conscious, I am always looking for low calorie snack ideas. As you may already know, using a hot air popcorn popper is a preferred way to make the popular salty treat.
I bought a Cuisinart Popcorn Maker in February 2015, and I’ve used it at least 3 times a week to this day. Here is my honest long term review of the Cuisinart CPM EasyPop Hot Air Popcorn maker. Disclosure: I sometimes receive compensation from the companies whose products I review. The opinions expressed here are my own.

What I like about this Cuisinart popcorn air popper

What was most important to me when I buy anything that is made of plastic is that it is BPA FREE. The ill effects of BPA are compounded when you heat them up, and this was the only one that was BPA free.

The removable top part is dishwasher safe, which is convenient. It is usually the last thing I put into the dishwasher at night, right before I run it. I wouldn’t want to be hand washing anything right before bed.
Cuisinart is known for making quality kitchen appliances, and over the years I’ve accumulated many. I currently have a Cuisinart brand coffee maker, food processor, ice cream maker, griddle, plus other things I’m probably forgetting. They are durable, economical, and most importantly, do what they are designed to do.
